Lust Have It! March

My first review of my first Lust Have It! box, I love beauty products and am always willing to try most products, I like creams and potions and polishes and treatments, the list goes on.

When I lived in the UK I used to receive every month a Glossy Box and I was sad that I had to cancel it to move back to oz. I began searching around here for a similar offer as I loved the feeling each month when it would arrive and the anticipation of opening it and seeing what was inside.

Lust Have It! is my answer, it is exactly like what I used to receive in London but more, it arrives in a nice sturdy box (great for keeping your hair clips or cotton balls in) and you get so much more value than the $20 each month you pay for it.  My first box was March this is what I got.

  1. BioElixia BodyShaper Cellulite Contour Creme RRP $59, 150ml
  2. Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray RRP $29.95, 59ml (received 20ml)
  3. The Natural Source Camouflage Colour Crayons RRP $9.99 each (received 2)
  4. DeLorenzo Essential Treatments Equilibrium RRP $31, 250gm (received 30g)
  5. Ocean Essence 24k Gold Eye Patches RRP $32.95, 5pk
So I received over $60 worth of stuff for $20, loving it!

The first thing I tried was the DeLorenzo hair treatment.  It is designed to bring dry and damaged hair back to its former glory.  It was fantastic, it stays in my shower and I have been using it once a week on the ends of my hair, it makes my hair feel great and especially as my hair is blond on the ends it gives it a nice little silky feeling.  I would definitely buy the 250gm tub.

My next item to try was the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray, this mist is meant to bring your make up back to life, so if your looking too shiny or its fading you give yourself a spray and hey presto.  I tried this and well it did make me look more refreshed but it did leave a wet feeling on my face for about 5 mins, fantastic for your handbag if your going out straight from work but someone like me who by 4pm doesn't really care what they look like I wouldn't rush out and spend $30 on it.

Ahhh the 24k gold eye patches.  So my husband thinks I am loopy as it is after catching me soaking off my shellac on Sunday with foil around my toes and then putting these on my face on Monday he was in hysterics!  Glad I keep him amused.  These are apparently the latest craze in anti-aging and to nourish and plump dark circles.  The instructions said to put them in warm water for 3 to 4 mins, they are like jelly, funny to touch and very cold on your skin (even when warmed) I left them on for about 20 mins or so and it did actually make a difference to the appearance of my pores near my eye area, they had practically disappeared and my skin felt tighter.  Check out my Facebook page if you want to see a picture of me wearing these :)

The Natural Source Camouflage Colour Crayons are essentially a coloured eye or lip liner.  Marketed to contain only naturally derived pigments, which to me that doesn't mean a thing.  They can be used anywhere on the body, I don't know maybe you like to draw fake tattoos on your arms or legs?  Anyway I received a green and maroon colour, I only ever wear black eye liner and don't even own a lip liner so will keep these for a fancy dress or maybe fake tattooing?

The last thing in my Lust Have It! box was the BioElixia BodyShaper Cellulite Contour Creme.  Said to improve the appearance of cellulite by an average of over 39%.  Now of course I have some dimples but to be honest I don't really care about my dimples nor do I have the time to be rubbing lots of cream into them or spending $59 on a product that does this.  This product may be great for someone with a bit more time or beauty regime than myself but a normal body or face moisturiser would have been better for me. So I haven't tried this and not sure if I will which is a shame as it is $59!

But the beauty of the box is that you will receive products that you don't necessarily like or use but you will find some that you love and instead of going out and purchasing that new BB cream or anti aging potion and not use it you can sample products here for a fraction of the amount.

My boxes arrive at the end of the month so last week I received my April box which was loaded with stuff including an Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner, a Molton Brown shower gel and some CC creams from Rachel K.
