Aussie Curves: Sequins

Here I was thinking I didn't own any sequins turns out I ended up having to choose between a few items so I went basic, my trusted sequined collared shirt and pocket from ASOS.  I also have this amazing sequin clutch from NEXT I never get to use, if only it had a long strap it would be nothing but threads by now.

When I think of sequins this is what forever pops in my mind, my sequined hat!  It was my first ever sequined item. For some reason my sister and I owned one of these, don't actually think we ever wore it but it was cool!

Were we the only girls to own these amazing sequined items in the 90s?

I definitely need more sequins in my life!

  1. I had that hat too!! And a West coast Eagles one! I LOVE that bag! Do you struggle with clutches too? I have some devine ones that never see the light of day because I KNOW I will put it down and forget to pick it up - especially on a night out! I like the cross body little bags so you have free movement.

    1. My problem is I don't get to go out much these days but yes totally prefer something across body so I can hold my drink in one hand and dance away! :) x

And yes, I absolutely eyed off such things in the 90's but always the conservative dresser, I never did buy one. ;)

    1. I was going to buy it when it was full price but I resisted and bought it when it was like half price, I might not have ever used it but I am hoping to one day!

  9. What is it with Pommie men that make us go mad for English paraphernalia? My husband is also English and I have a ton of London stuff around the house.
Anyways, your shirt is great, live the fact it only has a hint g bling. The clutch is brilliant. And the hat, let's just say the teenage me would've been jealous.
